The Ism Sound network is a music industry organization and promotion firm comprized of a group of Industry resources, professionals and artists serving as a one-stop information and solution center for established businesses, aspiring artists, and entertainment entrepreneurs. Our mission is to provide a unified community, and market force that serves as a vehicle for members so that they may access opportunities, access target market promotions and enhance their careers.
Our mission is executed through our interactive website: www.IsmSound.com, our newsletter database of over 12,000 recipients, Our annual product distribution line and through the implementation and execution of industry events, networking functions, panels, seminars, showcases, educational workshops, demonstrations and more.
In addition, because of our network and marketing efforts, events and seminars, Ism continues to build a strong base of members and a target market of consumers which provides prime branding opportunities for various companies and products.
As both promotion firm and organization, we are supported by sponsors and clients who want to reach out to our market. In the past, Ism has provided over 2.5 million viewers worth of market coverage for the following: Virgin Mega Store, Martell Liquors, Bacardi Silver, ASCAP, BMI, Bacardi Raz, Budweiser True Music, Miller Genuine Draft, MIWorkshop.

At the risk of being unconventional, I’ll do this in the first person. I Founded Ism Sound in January of 2001 while a Junior at Columbia College, Chicago. As an artist and an entrepreneur, I understand the complexity and frustration with making connections, meeting headstrong and influential people as well as finding resources that won’t waste time or money. I started Ism because after spending years trying to do it all alone, keep my own contacts with my own resources, I realized that this journey wouldn’t be nearly as hard if I worked together with others, shared ideas and contacts to find the best resources, complete tasks and do it all the most efficiently. Two heads are always better than one. So imagine 500 or 5,000 or even 5,000,000. It’s pretty simple, when you think about it and fortune 500 companies do it every day with junctures, mergers and alliances. It’s time that we empower ourselves and learn from the examples set before us. I know this is new and I don’t deny that in my young age I have a lot to learn. But here’s the great thing; thanks to this network, I don’t have to do it alone and neither will you. |
