The TRUTH 4th Annual Hip Hop/R&B Awards on October 3, 2004 was a fine display of Chicago excellence. Carl West brought forth once again a successful event honoring the immeasurable talent that exists here in the city of Chicago. With performances by artists White Boy, D.O.D, Number #1 Stunna’s, and Trey D just to name a few, the crowd showed love and appreciation. With over 45,000 votes this year on the city-alert website the winners are in. If you missed the awards show this year don’t fret, just don’t let it happen again in 2005. Recently announced - The TRUTH Hip Hop/R&B Awards will be renamed for next years 5th year annivarsary. The TRUTH AWARDS '05 will start in June with a big kick off bash to acknowledge the name change and celebrate MIDWEST GAP Enterprise 10th year in business. The TRUTH Business of Hip Hop Conference will highlight all events. Big up’s to Carl West and the Midwest Gap Enterprise on another success event.
