LL Cool J is set to join Queen Latifah in a comedy remake of Last Holiday.
In the remake of the original 1950 film, Latifah will play a terminally ill clerk who decides to travel to Europe for one last vacation with LL Cool J playing the man who falls in love with her while there.
Earlier this year, Dre announced he had given up on his long-awaited Detox album to focus on producing the wealth of talent signed to his Aftermath imprint, which includes 50 Cent, Game, Busta Rhymes, Eminem and Eve. Dre's plans have apparently been revamped. Dr. Dre’s label Interscope says the producer has been in the studio working on Detox and it's now slated for a fall 2005 release.
You know her well, Chi-town’s own Da’ Brat has been added to the upcoming cast of VH1’s The Surreal Life. First Vanilla Ice, then Flavor Flav, and now Da’ Brat - it’s very interesting that hip-hop icon’s keep getting added to the cast.

Yes MTV decided not to pull Eminem’s anti-Michael Jackson video “Just Lose It,” but MJ fans aren’t done just yet. The singer’s fan club is staging a rally outside of MTV’s New York studios on Nov 11 at 4 p.m. to voice discontent. “Come with posters and your voice,” reads a statement on the club’s Web site. “Take a stand and your voice will be heard.”
DID THEY VOTE?: According to New York's Daily News, early returns for Diddy's campaign indicated that 50 and Luda didn't vote. Word is that reality TV star Paris Hitlon, who also appeared in the "Vote Or Die" ads, also didn't vote.
